Hi,

How do I include a comment when users access a category in a drop down box? THe comment will change according to the catergory.

Example If I choose strawberry, the strawberry category will show and with it a comment will pop up stating "maximum 10 kgs only" and if I choose apple, the apple category will appear with a pop up comment "maximum 20apples only". I have 4000 of these catergories and would also appreciate some help teaching me how to apply these comments on a mass basis.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
The easiest thing would be to use VLOOKUP to put the comment in the cell adjacent to the validation selection.

But if you really need a message, this may be a start:
