Often I run calculations that take a lot of time.

Then Excel shows "Calculating: (4 Processors): x%" in the status bar. If I press anywhere on Excel this calculation is aborted and won't be completed. I often work with data that needs to have high integrity. It has happened that I have accidentally aborted a calculation.

Is there any way I get get a message from Excel when calculations haven't been completed?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
The only thing I can think of would be to test if Application.Calculation = xlManual...

You can tie this to a WS Change event, and say display a msg box reminding you that the WS just changed, but your formulas have not been updated yet.. However, it sounds like you may be using your worksheet in manual calculation mode on purpose, and if so then this msg box would fire every time a cell updates, which I assume would not be your intended result...
