Is it possible to create the red (hand drawn) line on a pivot chart?

I have a time series of data that I chart but I want to add a horizontal line with the most recent value, similar to the pic. And I obviously want it to update as new dates are added.

I haven't been able to figure out how unless I summarize the values in the source data.

I once did this thing by adding a field in the source table and then pulling that field in Pivot Table using Average (that will obviously be same as the source value). ;)

You need to go one step further by pulling that new pivot field as source in your chart that shall appear as a straight line to the value of source.;)
