Is it possible to create the red (hand drawn) line on a pivot chart?

I have a time series of data that I chart but I want to add a horizontal line with the most recent value, similar to the pic. And I obviously want it to update as new dates are added.

I haven't been able to figure out how unless I summarize the values in the source data.

I once did this thing by adding a field in the source table and then pulling that field in Pivot Table using Average (that will obviously be same as the source value).

You need to go one step further by pulling that new pivot field as source in your chart that shall appear as a straight line to the value of source.
