Following problem: Lets assume I have a table with four columns 1. Asset Name, 2. Region, 3. Return, 4. Equity. I now want to calculate a dynamic measure for equity-weighted return, which changes depending on a slicer for the region.

In general, in Excel I would first calculate equity weights (equity of one asset divided by sum of equity for the respective region), multiply with the return and sum this up.

Utilizing a calculated column for the equity weights would not work as the values would not adjust when changing the region.

Is there any way to get this issue covered by Power BI in a flexible way?

Your help is much appreciated! Many thanks in advance :)
