New Power BI user. I want to really bring PowerBI to our organization and it looks like it has so many useful things in there. Can anyone suggest any good books for beginners or exercises saved somewhere online that I can play with? I gotta really get up on top of that learning curve.

I do have a an actual append question though---. I had my first experience with PowerQuery today. I managed to append about a dozen files together successfully --yay! But for such a simple task I wasted a lot of time --total noob.
One thing that I couldn't figure out is when I appended files from a folder, I wanted to uniquely identify each appended file in the append file. Even though I wanted them all together I wanted to tag each appended file with in this case was the month and year of the file.

Could someone walk me through that or just suggest a link I can read through. I am having such a hard time with that.
