Hello all.

I am struggling to figure out what is going on. I have a power bi file that is pointing to a folder, that contains over 70 .csv files. Each file is around 200 Mb. I have been working with the power query editor all day. I finally had what I *thought* was a finished product. However, I have come to realize that there is a huge amount of data that is not coming through.
When I look at the advanced editor to see if I have somehow managed to install a filter that removes certain pointers, I don't see anything.
When I look at the .csv file I see the data that I had hoped was in power bi. But it's not there in power bi.
I removed all but two of the files from the folder and refreshed the power bi, still do not see the data that should be there.

Without pasting the entire advanced editor output, does anyone have any thoughts on where I might look?

If I need to, I can attach the output from the editor.

Well, I think that I found out what is going on. When I was working on the query, I was sorting some of the columns looking for issues that needed correcting. Evidently, when you do that, even if you unfilter, the step is still recorded and acted upon. I found that the .csv file has ~495K rows, and the output had 998 rows. I used chatgpt to evaluate the code and went from there.

Lesson Learned!
