Prevent increment when using autofill

Hi,

I have an Excel sheet, where sometimes I just want to left click and drag a value from a certain cell and downward to copy/paste it (the autofill + sign) But in some occations, the value is being added by one (1) for each row. Can I prevent this from happening with a VBA code? I only want to copy the original value.

Try holding down the Ctrl key as you drag the fill handle.

In VBA, you can use the "xlFillCopy" option, like I just did here: help use autofill or loop with arrey to fill for specific row

I know about Ctrl key. But I need a VBA code so I dont have to hold down the Ctrl.

See my post right above yours. They key is the Type:=xlFillCopy argument on the end of the command.

I am probably doing something wrong. You mean just use the code as is? I tried that now but didnt work.

Yes,

And when I do so, I would like a VBA code "pushing the CTRL for me", if you know what I mean

As far as I know, that is not possible.
