Note: In the middle of this paragraph I believe that I solved my problem but please read below and leave a comment as to what may be going on with my Office Programs. I am using Word and Excel 2010.

I am unable to open my excel files (at least the several I tried to open). When I try to open a Excel file I get the warning message "Not enough system resources to display completely". I was using an excel file in a word mail merge this morning and the Excel file was opened several times and appeared normal. I did try to save the completed Word Mail Merged file but was unable to save the word file. Tonight as part of my trouble shooting of the Excel problem I typed a short sentence in word and tried to save it. I got the same warning message I got this morning when I tried to save a Word file "You are attempting to save a file type (Word 2007 and later Documents and Templates) that have been blocked by your File Block setting in the Trust Center." For what it is worth I believe that I just solved my problem. I went to the Word Trust Center and unchecked a check box that blocked Word 2007 and later files. This allowed me to save a Word Document, and also allowed me to open my excel files normally. I have no idea why my trust center setting in Word were changed or why they also affected my ability to open my Excel files. Although my problem seems to be solved I am curious what happened. If anybody would care to comment I would appreciate it.
