problems saving. file size huge

hello, i am using excel 97. for some reason out of nowhere this will happen - when i save my worksheet the file becomes 89 KB. why does this happen. how can i make my file smaller?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Not being funny, but that looks pretty small to me.

How much data do yuo have in the spreadsheet?

well if that's the case, then i am :oops: 3 rows, 7 columns worth

True, it looks a little large, but unless you have reason to be concerned, I wouldn't be concerned :)
