Hi,

Can anybody please help me with my query.
I am not used to using Access but based on what i have read online, it's better to use for my case.

I have tons (some 2000 of them and still growing) of data in Excel. Product information like part no, description, price and pictures. I would like this to be stored in Access such that it can also get updated when new picture arrive or new product to be added.
When i search for product, i wish to have a form in access when i can just search for Part no (unique) then it will display all the relevant info and most importantly, the Image. If somebody could help, i shall highly appreciate.

Thanks in advance to all...

JM

Hi Denis,

I found that link very advanced for me :( sorry.

But is there a simpler way to do in Access.

I have actually did something very simple. I made a table and in the form, the image button i place this folder link C:\Documents and Settings\jhun.mercado\Desktop\New Folder\test1.jpg. that shows the picture at the right of the form. But what if i have thousands of record to make, how do i do that faster. I do this one by one currently. the linking of folder. also what if i am through with the link and suddenly i have to change folder, how do i update the link all at once.

Thanks again Denis...
