Okay, I think I might of over complicated my excel task today. I had posted a problem this afternoon and after reading it again, I think I just want to keep it simple. So excuse me for posting again.
Layout:
Tab 1 - Data source (project info) from a query (freshable, thank goodness)
A=Project Name B= Status (Inflight, Completed,Up & Coming and Cancelled) C=budget, d=actuals.
Tab 2 - Dashboard required. At the top, I've inserted a Format Control box which lists managers names. The object is to be able to click on the name eg. John Smith (within the Format Control box) and the project details (A=Project Name B= Status (Inflight, Completed,Up & Coming and Cancelled) C=budget, d=actuals - this comes from the data source tab ) will appear against his/hers name underneath.
The whole idea is to have flexibility by selecting a managers
I don't know if this can be done by a formula or VB.
Any solutions?
Thanks,
Jen
