I have a worksheet that can be accessed via password by multiple users. I need to allow these users to enter data, but I want to prevent them from overriding the conditional formats in the cells. Each row is color-coded, so if they drag info from one row to another or copy & paste, they screw up my beautiful color system. Can I protect the conditional formats but still allow data entry?

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

I don't think there is a simple way to do this.

One way is to disable copy/cut/pasting in the worksheet thru VBA - try to search the archives.
