Protecting Data with Userforms

Hi Guys,

I am using Excel to keep my books, so I want to create a data entry form rather than entering the data directly into the cells. Can anybody tell me where to find a good tutorial on how to do this?

I will also want to protect the sheet before and after entering the data in the form.
