I've been trying to get this to work for a couple of hours... lol
I'm using Excel 2003.
I'm using Harlan's PULL function, with the last date being, 5-30-04
B4: ="'\\BUNT6DCSRV1\storage\Butler\BM_MFG\Production Reports\2007 Production Reports\" & VLOOKUP(MONTH(B6),$D$6:$E$17,2) & " " & MID(YEAR(B6),3,2) & "''\Molding\[2nd.xls]" & DAY(B6) & "'!$A$7:$U$45"
B6: 08/28/2007
B8: 23
23 is a mold number for a tool at work.
The VLOOKUP for the MONTH, is to return the name of the month "January" "February" etc...
These two lines both work:
=VLOOKUP(B8,INDIRECT(B4),1,0)
=VLOOKUP(B8,'[2nd.xls]28'!$A$7:$U$45,1,0)
This one doesn't:
=VLOOKUP(B8,PULL(B4),1,0)
I've never been able to get PULL to work... lol
