Hello,
Another basic question from me...

The blue spreadsheet screenshot is the one I'm working on, and the white spreadsheet is another spreadsheet that I want to pull the highlighted data from.
I tried to copy and paste this column in and then used the CONCAT function, but then realised everything was in a completely un-related order with extra cells in my working spreadsheet, so the size of the data I copied and pasted would not be the same anyway.

I wondered if anyone knew a way that I could say if the text in Blue spreadsheet column 'Publication' says matches text in the White spreadsheet column 'Publication', it will pull in whatever related context is in White spreadsheet 'Publication Notes' column?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Your screenshots don't give any clue as to columns or rows, or sheet names. It looks like the "blue" sheet may be a Table, but can't be sure.

Try this formula in the blue sheet starting in row 2.
Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP(A2,'Sheet 2'!A:C,3,FALSE)
or
Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP(Table1[@Publication],'Sheet 2'!A:C,3,FALSE)
change Table1 to the actual table name
