Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
On the Forms toolbar, drag a button to where you want it and use this code;

Code:
Sub Button1_Click()
Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").Value = DateSerial(Year(Now), Month(Now) - 1, Day(Now))
End Sub

This puts a date in cell A1

Sorry, mis-read your post, this will put the date in the active cell;

Code:
Sub Button1_Click()
Sheets("Sheet1").Activate
ActiveCell.Value = DateSerial(Year(Now), Month(Now) - 1, Day(Now))
End Sub
