Question about Outlook

Hello,

I am trying - with very little luck - to create a read only non forwardable (but printable) email in MS outlook.

It is for an e-ticket and I want to ensure that people cannot tamper with it before printing it out.

Can anyone help???? Please?????? :):):):)

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Thank you Smitty,

Unfortunately, as they are e-tickets and not necissarily going to people using outlook (though I am sending from outlook) the option to create an email template isn't applicable.

I'm thinking I'll just have to trust people's honesty...

So you're sending the e-tickets as attachments?

What program are you creating them in?

Hi,

No I am sending it in the body of the email with a unique booking ID number and the quantity of tickets stated.

My concern is that by pressing forward, customers can edit the quantity of tickets bought - so say they only bought 1 they could change that to 4.

We are going to have a a list on the door of unique reference numbers and ticket quantities but we're hoping to only refer to that if things get in a jam.

What I was hoping for was a way of making the emails I'm sending uneditable but still printable - so far there I've can't find anything! It's a charity event so fingers crossed people will be decent and not try to cheat!

Cheers Kerry

I would look in the Outlook helpfile.

We use Lotus Not(s), so I'm not much help, but in Not(s) there is a Confidential feature that prevents forwarding & editing, and only allows printing. I'm sure there's something similar in Outlook.

Ah, thank you - there is a function similar in Outlook but it doesn't let the recipient print so I am, as we say in UK, skuppered.

Thanks for your help all the same! :)
