I am about to write a module, which going to require me to add an ActiveX Data Object. This project is going to be distributed to multiple people. I apologize for the dumb question, but will each user be required to load the ActiveX Data Object in order to use the excel program or does that ActiveX Data Object become part of the packet?

Thank you!

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
When a workbook contains a reference to a library, only the pointer to that library is saved with the workbook. The library isn't copied along with the workbook. So the target machine must contain the library, and the library must be registered with the operating system. In this case, though, the ActiveX Data Object library is usually part of VBA, so you shouldn't have a problem at all.

Hope this helps!
