Hi,

In the Name Manager window in excel 2010, I can see numerous names that are in workbooks that I am not even working on. The filter on the top right of the screen is set to "Names scoped to workbook" but it still shows names from other workbooks. is there any setting to show names only in workbook that I am currently working on, as was the case in earlier versions of the name manager.

Thanks,
PK

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Hi PK,

I thought I was experiencing the same issue, but unfotunately I couldn't replicate it.

I can't rule out another user (maybe even me) copying and pasting a worksheet from workbook A to workbook B, which will copy all the named ranges. Then if you delete the tab you just pasted into B, the named ranges will still exist in B, with external links to A.
