I've just finished a rather fancy programme intergrating Access and Excel via a complex series of Modules and to add the cherry to the top of the cake i'd like to be able to trigger the computers on-board sound devise (the one used for alert messages etc.. not the sound card / speakers etc..) to play a little melody...

any suggestions

cheers
phil

p.s.

something by Mozart would be nice.... :)

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.

the computers dont have sound cards to play wav files so, it would have to be through the same speaker that makes the alert sound...
