I created a spreadsheet and saved it. When I open the document it shows that it was opened as Read Only. I cannot save the document unless I change the name. How do I turn this off?
Help!
Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
If you browse to the workbook in Windows Explorer, right-click on it, and select "Properties", go to the General tab and see if the "Read-only" attribute check box is checked.
If it is, uncheck it.

right click the icon in your save location and go to properties. Make sure it is not set for read-only.
