Hi,

I am trying to use the text that is entered into a text box to do a Vlookup. The code I have tried is:

Dim user As String
user = username.Text
Range("check") = user

I have also tried

Range("check") = username.text

It keeps getting stuck on the = username.text.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Ah, nevermind.....I got it

Dim user As String
user = Sheets("LogIn").username.Text
Range("check") = user
