Recalc questions

Is there a way to recalc portions of a spreadsheet? For instance, I have a multi tab spreadsheet, and one tab takes a very long time to recalc, but other tabs have simple, unrelated calculations. Sometimes I would like to recalc the simple tabs without waiting on the long recalc time of the complicated tab, is this possible?

Also, I have some sheets that do all of their calculations in VBA, called from cells. If I hit F9, those cells are not recalced unless one of the input cells has changed. Some times I have changed the VBA code but not the data, is there a way to force a recalc without changing any of the cells?

thanks
Fred

Hi Fred

Check the keyboard shortcuts

F9 - Calculate all sheets in all open workbooks
CTRL+ALT+F9 - Calculate all sheets in the active workbook
SHIFT+F9 - Calculate the active worksheet

Hope this helps
