Does anyone have any recommended books or websites that one could use to learn Excel? I am a relative newcomer to the program but am good in several of the functions. I'm looking for books that I can easily find on Half.com and for a bargain. I use Microsoft Office 2003 but I also have 2007 so any book or resource that can cover both would be preferred. I appreciate anyone that can help me with this request.

Thanks again in advance.

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
I bought a book called "Excel VBA- 24-hour trainer" by Tom Urtis. Its awesome! It starts off in the basics of vba and programming languages in general. So if you are comfortable with programming formats etc. then the beginnign of the book should be simple. As you progress the chapters build off the previous ones and increase the information it is giving you. I recommend it because it is easy to follow and there are lots of practical examples to read and to try. At the end of each chapter is an example that they have you do, it uses everything from the chapter. Also comes with a DVD that demonstrates the chapters programming tips and methods. the book gives a website p2p.wrox.com or just try wrox.com I bought my book from amizon Good luck. Enjoy!!

Just happened to see this post, and wanted to say thank you to shabbyporpoise for buying the book and taking the time to post these nice comments.

I enjoyed writing the book, which hit the shelves in May. The publishing company was Wiley/WROX, and I could not have asked for a more supportive and terrific team to work with.
