Hello,

I came across a problem with my macro and decided to record a macro and see how excel did this, the result:

Code:
    Range("G14,I14").Select
    Range("I14").Activate
    ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddChart.Select

however, when I run this macro i get the 1004 error on the last line?!
The last line of code was also present in my own and therefore I tried to record one to see what I was doing wrong.

Anyone an idea because a macro that is recorded by excel itself that does not work is strange in my view.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hmmm, I see this is a bigger problem than expected. Still I don't get it, one would expect excel to record proper macro's.
