Reference formulas...

Does anyone know whether it is possible to use one of the 'lookup' or other reference functions when the 'Lookup_Value' is text and can be different (ie: the text can differ between sheets)?

Thanks for your assistance in advance.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
