Hi,

I was wondering if there is a non-macro/VBA way to refresh a pivot table when a value in a cell changes?

Cheers

You can Right-Click on the PivotTable then click Refresh.

If you are asking whether there is a way to automatically refresh a pivot table when a value in the data source changes....No, I'm not aware of a way to do that without VBA.

thanks for the reply.

I didn't think there would be a way without a Macro/VBA, but if there was a way the people on this board would know about it.

Cheers

Not quite what you're asking, but...

If the pivot table is set up with an external data source, and that can be the same file, there is an option to have the pivot table refresh every n minutes.

That's like magic! :)

I set it for 1 minute, changed some source data values and waited with my arms folded.
30 seconds later my PivotTable blinked and then displayed updated values on it's own.
I had no idea that was possible without VBA.

Thank you Fazza!
