Hi

I am fairly new to macros, so most of the time I will press the recorder button, do a set of actions, and then return to Visual Basic to try and edit/learn about my macros.

In my older version of Excel, there was a useful button that popped up called "Relative Reference".

However, I now have the 2002 version, and the Relative Reference Button does not appear.

I searched through the List of Icons and could not find it. Can anyone tell me where I can find this button?

Cheers

Greg

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
They are there ! trust me... to get them do this: Start recording a macro, then, right click on any toolbar, and check the "Stop Recording" toolbar, that will bring up the toolbar with two buttons, one of them is the one you're talking about.
