Remote Computer

Our Data is stored on a computer at the office. We have excel and an excel add in on that computer. The add in pulls in data to an excel spreadsheet. I can log into that computer with Logmein and work in excel but it is much slower than if I work on excel on my laptop. Is there a way to get the data from the spreadsheet on the remote computer to my laptop other than a lot of copying and pasting?

FYI: LogMeIn is peer2peer connectivity and has a file transfer function.

Yes, I can transfer the file but when I do I only get errors in the cells that the add in populates with data.
