This may not be possible but I have a spreadsheet with 12 tabs. One for each month with data in almost every day of each month. I want to keep the data but remove the calendar. I need to split some of the cells that have the data but since it is a calendar, it won't let me. Any way to do this and keep the formatting?

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
This is taking a wild guess, but the only way that you are not allowed to split cells is if the sheet is protected. To see if it is, go to the Review tab. If you see
unprotect.PNG

Click on it and enter a password if it requires one. Then you will be able to edit the sheet.

(Just as a side note, if you happened to generate this calendar from the code from Create and insert a calendar in Excel - Office , that code does protect the sheet (without a password). And if so, that explains a lot! But that's all you have to do.)

(I think it is best if this doesn't answer your question in full to show us at least an image of what one of your month calendar sheets looks like.)
