Not sure how but I seem to have 3 drive folders in my Recent folder lists, I would like to remove them not delete them. Tried 'Remove' but they are not removed.

Not sure what Excel version your screenshot came from. Mine does not look like that.

So, I can only give advice on my version. You can try and see if it works for you.

File>Options>Advanced
Scroll Down to Display
Under Show this number of Unpinned Recent Folders, change it to 0 or whatever number you want.
Click OK.

Thank you for your reply and my apologies, should have noted Excel version.
I am using Excel 2010. Under display there is only the option to show the number of recent documents 0-50 but no option to change or remove folders.

I am using Excel 2010.
Please add that to your Account details (click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Can anyone confirm that you can/cannot remove folders with drive letters in Excel 2010 Recent drop down, as in #1 post above ? If you can please let me know how
Many thanks.
Alan.
