how to remove minus signs in the digit string in excel 2003
sample: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6
and convert to simple: 123456

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
If your strings are actually like that one sample you have given, then you could use a single SUBSTITUTE:

=SUBSTITUTE(A1," - ","")+0
