I created a table but later decided against using it, but I cannot get rid of the table formating and go back to basic Excel format.

How can I solve this?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Right click your Table.
In the menu choose "Table..."
Choose Convert to Range.
Now format the range as desired.
