Hi. Using Excel 2010. Via a copy and paste from a web page a certain name at times comes up with brackets after it and a couple of letters in the bracket. EG.

Rolling Pin (NZ)

I only want this name to appear as "Rolling Pin"

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi Peter and thanks for your reply. I just tried that and it worked, BUT. In my case only sometimes there are brackets after names, not always.

So I am looking for a formula that will located these brackets when they appear and remove them.

Regards, Paul
