Hello, I am trying to get rid of duplicate rows, but for some reason when I use delete duplicates it deletes all the data from columns other than A (even though I choose delete duplicates based on column A only). Could you please help me with this problem?

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
If you delete dupes based on A alone then aren't the other columns ignored? So don't ignore the columns that might have needed information?

I do not really understand why it affects my data.

There are, for example, two 11's in col A. One of them has to go based on your choices. The second one is the dupe - that's the one that contains data. Same with 12, 13, 14 and so on. I'm can't see why you'd expect anything else to happen.

Sort your data before you remove the duplicates. Select columns A-F, sort first by Column A (smallest to largest), then by B (A to Z). Then remove the duplicates as you did previously.
