I've created a form using VLOOKUP that fills in several cells based on a lsit selection. However, it would be great if the cells appeared blank until the information has been filled in.
Is this possible? Showing #N/A in every cell is a little distracting.

Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Try...

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(LookupValue,TableArray,ColIndex,RangeType)),"",VLOOKUP(LookupValue,TableArray,ColIndex,RangeType))

Hope this helps!

If you always expect your lookup value to be within the lookup range but you simply want to suppress #N/A when lookup value is blank

=IF(LookupValue="","",VLOOKUP(LookupValue,TableArray,ColIndex,RangeType))
