I have a report whose record source is
Code:
SELECT * FROM tblTemplateFiscalGiftsRecapj ORDER BY tName ASC
The report is in the correct sequence on the screen, but when I save the report as as an .rtf the sequence reverts to the primary key. Advice appreciated.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Sounds like you might have a lookup defined at table level on tName. Is that correct? If you do, you should not have that as it can cause problems just as you describe. Or, if you are using multi-valued fields and tName is one of those then it would require a different handling of the SQL statement.
