I have a report in which I print out the detail section (average 1 - 10 detail records) and then right after the detail section I want to start printing the Page Footer section. However there always seems to be space between the last detail record and the footer data. Is there a way I can create a report that prints the footer data immediatley following the detail data?

Example:
Company name (in Page header)
emp01 name (detail record)
emp02 name
emp03 name
Company address (in footer section)

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest

I don't think there is, a footer's purpose is to show data in that area.

Could be wrong though but I imagine it might require a fair bit of tweaking, perhaps even code.

Can you not show the data in the main part of the report?

If I put the info in the MAIN part of the report wouldn't it get repeated? I want the address part of the record to be printed only once after all the names have been printed.

Must it be in the footer?

How about adding a Group Header or a Group Footer?

Goto View>Sorting and Grouping, select the address field and set the properties as required.

I'm not 100% sure what properties to use/set - not done any complicated reports recently.

When I did do them I normally found out it was trial and error first time round.

Then in subsequent reports I recalled what I'd done in the first.

Hardly scientific but it seemed to work.:)
