:confused:Good Morning,

I'm creating a log which has the following columns:

Date Issue Found | Date Query Raised | Date Query Resolved | Reference | Notes

What I want to happen is for the log to show me which is the oldest Raised Query (column B) but excluding any that have been resolved (column C).

I know how to return the min value, but I'm struggling to work out the correct formula to make that Min value subject to Column C being blank.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Excel Joke
Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Try this:

Array formula (use Ctrl+Shift+Enter and not only Enter):

Code:
=MIN(IF($C$2:$C$18="",$B$2:$B$18))

Or

=MIN(IF($C$2:$C$18="",IF($B$2:$B$18<>"",$B$2:$B$18)))

If you have blank cells in the range B2:B18.

Hi Markmzz

Thank you for the quick reply.

Works perfectly - Arrays are not my specialty!

Thanks again.
