Return last 4 digits of an account string within a cell

I have several thousand rows of data and all of the rows are full of random things, but each cell contains a 15-digit account number that begins with "40". I need to show, in another cell, just the last 4 digits of this string.

I've been trying to use a FIND formula within a RIGHT formula, but can't seem to get it.

Any help is appreciated.

Try :-

=RIGHT(MID(A1,FIND("40",A1),15),4)

change cell ref if required.

Would that be a chance of existence of the "40" other than the 15 digit string?

Assuming there's only 1 instance of a "40":

=0+MID(A1,FIND("40",A1)+11,4)
