Returning data based on image/picture selection

Hi All,

I have a set of 1000+ drawing/image/picture of parts. Is there a way to return the data of that specific drawing/image/picture that is on a excel spreadsheet based on the selection of a drawing/image/picture of the item?

Before starting discouraging you, is there any relation between the Picture and the Part? For example the Name, the Position on the sheet, ... ("The Picture is similar to the Item" is not an answer, in this context)
