Reverse of "Remvoe Duplicates"?

Instead of removing duplicates, I would like a list of the duplicates Excel would remove. The data is imported from another program, and I would like to clean up the source data, so that over time, there would be no duplicates. Is there way to do this?

Hi

One approach that is followed quite often, is to insert a column with a COUNTIF. That formula will count the number of times an item occurs in a range of cells. As in:

=COUNTIF($A$1:$A$20,B1)

If it's above 1, you know it's a duplicate.
