Hello all....
Is it possible to save a modified ribbon using VBA so that I do not need to go back to Options to change it back to my likings everytime I use the same workbook?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

I was under the impression that any customizations you made to the ribbon stayed in place once you made them. Are your changes not staying?

Hi,
I posted this question LOOOOOOng time ago, but the pro blem is still the same.....

What I need to do is have ONLY the file tab present on one program I created. I do not want to have the users of my program to gain access to any other tabes. What I want to accomplish is make sure that the use will only be able to save the file, Save As, and Print the file, nothing else. The nprogram is a school marks management program and I do NOT what the users (teachers) to do anything to the spreadsheet. All they will be allowed to do is input marks, and then save the changes and print the sheets they are working on. I do NOT want them to do anything else.

To answer your question, yes the customization of the ribbon does change, but I do not want it to change for anything else.

You'd probably need a custom XML for the workbook instead of VBA. You want more information on that?

My apologies...last weekend I had to reformat my computer and this weekend we'll be out of town, but I haven't forgotten about this (if you haven't already figured it out).
