Is is possible to have a bar of pie chart show 100 percent of a selected piece of pie (lets say piece of pie is 65% and I want to show 100% of categories that made up that 65%)? I can't seem to accomplish this without the pie chart creating an "other" category and then the bar adds up only to the amount of the percent of of the chosen slice.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
In reading your question more carefully, i would recommend making a second pie chart that only has the data points of your other category. HOWEVER, be careful as someone not understanding what you are doing may think that the Other 1 or Other 2 data is equal to the percentages in the original chart. See example below.

A 25%
B 25
C 25
Other 1 12.5%
other 2 12.5

In a separate chart 12.5 and 12.5 would = 50%
This may look like they are greater than the 25% categoaries A-C
