What is one reason for rotating text? What is rotating text?

I have no idea what this is talking about.. help.... Thanks
 

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try it yourself using Format Cells/Alignment ... Orientation.

Mainly used for fitting long column headers into narrow columns.
