row of numbers greater than another row

Using the above example how would I put one formula in cell a5 that would tell me how many cells in a row 1 are greater than the cell in row3 in the same column. A1>A3,D1>D3,E1>E3,F1>f3,h1>h3 would all be the ones that are greater than.
