RSS Feeds on Excel

Hi I was curious to know whether excel (2007 or 2010) is any efficient as being a place where you can store and update all your RSS feeds?

I know you can import RSS feeds onto excel 2007/2010 by going into "Data > Import From Web" but the data comes out very messy and difficult to read.

I was wondering if there is an efficient and clean way to maintain feeds? Maybe a plugin someone created that allows you to make a decent and organised feed machine? Or an add-on?

Any ideas where I could start on building a working model?

Essentially, I want to start storing all my feeds onto excel so that I can use excel to start manipulating the data in order to filter out junk news and over time keep the best ones.

Thanks,
J
