You need to call your macro from the Workbook_Open event. Go to the VBE and select the ThisWorkbook object for the workbook containing your chosen macro. Then enter something like this:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
'
Call MyMacro
'
End Sub
How do you do this in Excel 2000? I don't find an Open event in the Workbook. There is an Activate, but it doesn't seem to fire when you first invoke Excel.
do an Alt + F11. then on the left, select "This workbook" Then open the General window, workbook, then open the Declaarations and you will find the workbook open
