Run-time error 3706 - Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed

I am running Microsoft 32bit & Windows 7 64bit

The error is in the first line of code

xlCon.Open ("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=Q:\filepath\filename.xls;Extended Properties=Excel 8.0;")
xlRs.Open "Select * From [xtoidw$]", xlCon, ADODB.CursorTypeEnum.adOpenStatic, ADODB.LockTypeEnum.adLockOptimistic, &H1
strSearchField = "SearchField = 1000"
xlRs.Find (strSearchField)

After researching a little further I found my solution. Just wanted to share with those that are interested.

The working code below:

xlRs.Open "Select * From [xtoidw$]", xlCon, ADODB.CursorTypeEnum.adOpenStatic, ADODB.LockTypeEnum.adLockOptimistic, &H1
strSearchField = "SearchField = 1000"
xlRs.Find (strSearchField)
