Is there a way to do a Save As using VBS? I have a main program that uses VBS to open another excel file and make changes and I need to know if I can do a "Save As" to save the file with a different name (in this case, I want to save as with a new revised date so that we keep the old file).

Thanks.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Workbook.SaveAs method saves workbook with different name. All methods available in VBA macro are available in Visual Basic too.
